JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (April 27, 2018) – Legacy Village of Jacksonville, a premier senior living community serving the Jacksonville, Ala. area, hosted its 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 30, for memory care residents.
“We were so excited to have an Easter egg hunt for our residents. We are always looking for creative ways to get our residents up and moving. Our residents love to celebrate Easter, and I am glad we were able to recreate a childhood tradition for them,” Robbie Bell, life enrichment coordinator of Legacy Village of Jacksonville, said.
Students from Jacksonville State University’s Sigma Alpha Omega sorority donated volunteer hours to help hide over 250 prize Easter eggs for the memory care residents to hunt throughout The Harbor.
“This is something our families and residents look forward to every year. We want to thank everyone who came out and celebrated this annual event with us. It is a blessing to have so much support from our families, volunteers, and community partners so that we can host special activities like these throughout the year,” Nicole Smith, executive director of Legacy Village of Jacksonville, said.
